If you ask an initiate of the Order where are they from, you may be told: "From The DIVINE ESSENCE OF ALL THAT IS." ...The consciousness narrows when it crystallizes into the thought of being from a country, state , city, nationality, race and so on. We are not the body. We are not the mind… we are The Eternal Spark of The Divine Essence of All That Is, Was and Ever Shall Be. NMC is very sincere/serious about this. The consciousness expands when it aligns itself with the higher truths of being.

One of the main services/efforts offered at the Veil of Truth Center and at the Community's web site are the consultations with Nazirmoreh (ABRD), … for many have benefited through the direct communion; receiving the teachings transmitted by Nazirmoreh (ABRD), ...as they open up their heart and allow the teacher-student relation to blossom - be it for a moment, a day, a year or a lifetime. NAHZIRYAH MONASTIC COMMUNITY
Nahziryah Monastic Community (NMC), is an intentional community. The Nazir Community is monastic; abiding by strict rules, order and disciplines. The Monastery includes men, women and children. NMC's resident members live a simple, monastic, community life. Live-in student/members work hard, meditate, study and strive daily to overcome the lower ego. Nahziryah Monastic Community is where the effort of all is right living; which is achieved through the practice of right thoughts, words, and deeds… And likewise, through right living one receives the incentive to attain to right thought, word and deed. Once the practice of right thinking is accomplished, right words and actions will be readily externalized and perceived. When thoughts are kept positive and harmonious; words and deeds will manifest accordingly, and so will it be with one's life.
NAZIR ORDER OF THE PURPLE VEIL
Nahziryah Monastic Community's Nazir Order of the Purple Veil (NOPV), is the Community's initiated inner Order and Path of strict discipline. An initiate of the Order is one who is consecrated. The Nazir Order makes consciousness expansion and further spiritual development the chief object of life. The Purple Veil and garments of the initiates of the Order are worn to enshroud those of the Order in the spiritual, peaceful and positive energies emanating from the color purple; purple being a color of the highest spiritual vibratory rate. It may cause a feeling of consternation in those who have a fear of the unknown, however, the overall effect is that of helping to usher in more spiritual and harmonious states of consciousness throughout all existence.
An initiate of the NOPV wears solid, all purple, monastic garments at all times. Members of NMC live a reclusive, austere life, refraining from eating flesh, drinking intoxicants and cutting of the hair, among other disciplines. An initiate of the Nazir Order of the Purple Veil does not use narcotics, drugs or nicotine.
NAZIR ART CRAFTS
VEIL OF TRUTH
Nazir Art Crafts is a name of the Community's service, which is a means to support the Community and serve all existence. A variety of art crafts, which include; jewelry for healing and spiritual/mental attunement, prayer beads for various religions, eastern garments, passport neck pouches, cloth shoulder bags, crocheted or fabric kufi, etc., are handmade and offered to all beings.
Veil of Truth is the name of NMC's Center for Metaphysical and Esoteric Learning located in New Orleans, Louisiana since 1988 until 1999. At the Veil of Truth center, now located within the Monastery, many tools are available for self-improvement in the form of books, audios, videos, charts, posters, etc. Information is obtainable on the world's religions, natural health, vegetarianism, environmental issues, various methods of spiritual unfoldment, consciousness expansion subjects, cultural histories of the world and more.
Other offerings attainable through NMC, NOPV and the Veil of Truth are the Purple Veil Newsletters and alternative health care assistance via NMC's Better Health Naturally Information Department, and a variety of Wholistic Living Supplies.
Nazir Art Crafts manages the True Scents mail order catalogs, in which the finest available fragrances are provided for use as animal-free, natural body scents or ingredients for natural bath products, massages oils and more - pure oils in their undiluted states… essential oils used for aromatherapy and in natural products. Nazir Art Crafts offers all-natural, animal free body soaps in bar form as well. Also, the finest selection of fragrances for the home or work environment, in the form of sticks, oil diffusers, cones, loose resins, and more… assisting in a favorable atmosphere for work, prayer, meditation, recreation and relaxation.
NMC sustains itself through its own laborious efforts, except for the occasional donations given by the few, who are sympathetic and supportive of the teachings which come thru the Reverend Nazirmoreh (ABRD); and with NMC's way of life; and are willing and able to financially and otherwise help support the service.

THE RETREAT
"They prepare places in quiet environments… to carry on the spiritual way of life." As the Book of the Order states, the Nazir prefer woodsy, natural environments. At present the NMC Retreat is located in the forested Ozark mountains. NMC has been at this particular location since 1993.
